We are seeking a skilled sales professional to drive growth in our assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, securing orders, and preparing annual contracts. They will also act as primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Drive sales growth and achieve KPIs (revenue, gross margin, share of wallet) within your assigned region.
* Develop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries.
* Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Act as primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions.
* Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems.
Your Profile
* Education & Experience: Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or related Engineering discipline, combined with 5+ years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, translating technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Sales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
* Communication & Interpersonal Competence: Fluent English, additional German skills a plus; building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization.
* Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally.
