Live the brand Founded in 2009, Altra Running is headquartered in Logan, Utah. It all started when Golden Harper started cutting up and reconfiguring existing running shoes in hopes of designing something better. Along with co-founders, Brian Beckstead, Jeremy Howlett and Quirl Jacob Hansen, he came up with the idea for a “Zero Drop” shoe, meaning that the goal was to create shoes that lacked a height differential between the heel and toe area. When you consider that many of today’s athletic shoes pad the heel so much that they resemble high heels, this was a revolutionary idea! When no companies expressed interest in the design, the foursome partnered with Pulse Labs (an engineering firm at Brigham Young University), contracted manufacturers in Asia and launched Altra Footwear on their own. Let's Talk About The Role The Sales Rep is the account lead and ultimately responsible to ensure all opportunities in the area of sales, marketing, product and operations are heard and quantified. The primary goal is to ensure that all seasonal and yearly quantitative and qualitative objectives are met and aligned to the overall EMEA/country strategy. How You Will Make a Difference Strategy: • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships across your territory. • Own and execute strategic account plans, aligning seasonal initiatives with the EMEA Go-To-Market strategy. • Identify and seize new business opportunities across your territory • Conduct regular store visits to Drive the in-store Brand presence, to ensure excellent Brand consumer awareness and connection. • Own your agenda and territory - you're trusted to act autonomously and with impact Revenue: • Drive the business, implement and nurture profitability, in line with key metrics and Brand guidelines. • Lead in the development and implementation of account specific marketing plans. • Plan, control and execute activities to hit the required sales targets and the desired profit margins. Process & distribution: • Drive the seasonal selling 'Go to Market' process. • Establish and maintain close contact with the management and all key decision makers or influencers within the Account. • Drive the assortment planning process within the defined distribution policy with the account, to ensure market differentiation, in order to build the base for future sustainable profitable growth. Skills for Success • Education: BA or BS degree in sales (Apparel or Industrial) or related field • Experience: 2 years relevant and progressive experience in Sales management • Language skills: Fluent in German and English • Strong knowledge of the Outdoor/ Sports industry in respective countries/ area What's in it for you?
