Facilities Operations Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of office properties, focusing on efficient and cost-effective management. This role ensures both trouble-free technical operations and high-quality support for users and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building Services Systems Monitoring: Oversight of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, elevators, electrical systems, etc.
* Infrastructural Services Coordination: Control of cleaning, security, winter maintenance, reception services
* Operator Responsibility: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Maintenance Documentation: Organization and documentation of maintenance, inspections, and repairs
* Contact Person: Liaison for tenants, internal departments, and external service providers
* Audits and Inspections: Participation in audits and technical inspections
* Minor Repairs: Carrying out minor repairs as needed
* Documentation and Reporting: Assistance with documentation and reporting related to facility operations
Requirements:
* Vocational Training: Required; technical qualification in this field (e.g., electronics technician, plant mechanic, mechatronics technician or similar) desirable
* MS Office and CAFM Systems: Confident use of these tools
* Service Provider Experience: Experience in dealing with service providers and external companies
* Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., Betriebssicherheitsverordnung, Arbeitsstättenverordnung) - optional but beneficial
* Languages: Fluent German at native speaker level, English with basic knowledge
* Bachelor's Degree: Basic knowledge of building automation or energy-efficient systems is a plus
* Commercial Knowledge: Basic commercial knowledge, especially in preparing offers and understanding cost structures, is desirable
