The Role
This is a commercially focused contract management role, sitting at the intersection of legal, finance, and commercial operations within the energy sector. The successful candidate will take ownership of complex commercial agreements, manage relationships with key clients and partners, and contribute to the identification and realisation of commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently manage, administer, and develop commercial contracts in the energy sector, steering them across the full contract lifecycle.
* Review, negotiate, and adapt contract terms in close coordination with internal stakeholders including Legal, Commercial & Risk, and Finance.
* Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, accompany billing processes, and identify and assess opportunities and risks within existing contract structures.
* Actively maintain client and business partner relationships, lead contract and client discussions, and serve as the central point of contact for commercial and contractual matters.
* Identify commercial optimisation and development opportunities at an early stage, support the development of new business models, and contribute to tendering processes and commercial evaluations.
* Analyse economic value drivers, incorporate energy market dynamics, and derive well-founded decision-making frameworks for management.

Your Profile
* A completed degree in Business, Business Engineering, Energy Economics, or a comparable qualification.
* A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in contract management, commercial management, or business development — ideally within the energy sector.
* Demonstrable experience handling complex contracts and a sound understanding of commercial and economic interrelationships.
* An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working approach with a strong grasp of value drivers and business performance.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate and balance diverse stakeholder interests.
* Fluent German and English (written and spoken), with a confident and professional presence when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
