As a (Junior) Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the private cloud technical foundation of RISE with SAP and Business Data Cloud (BDC) engagements. The CAAs’ mandate spans the initial sales cycle, subsequent change requests and renewal events for private cloud architecture changes. You will advise customers and internal account teams on SAP’s private cloud offerings, assess the technical feasibility of customers’ requirements and translate these into technical landscape designs. As a final step, these landscapes are handed over to our delivery teams for system provisioning.
Basic understanding of the technical operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery is a benefit
Good understanding of the entire platform stack (hyperscaler, storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
Basic understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
Fluency in German and English is a must, any other language an asset
