Automate logistics – not just pixels
Do you want your models to power camera-based automation systems that dramatically reduce errors on the warehouse floor instead of living only in Jupyter notebooks? Logivations is looking for an experienced Computer Vision & AI Engineer to scale our AI infrastructure and push the boundaries of vision-driven logistics.
Tasks
* Design, train & fine-tune deep-learning models (detection, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation) for demanding industrial environments targeting embedded devices.
* Design & implement features in our AI platform while tackling project-specific edge cases.
* Act as technical lead & code role model: drive clean architecture, code reviews, CI/CD, testing best practices.
* Mentor and upskill our junior engineers: share knowledge, review pull requests, host workshops.
* Collaborate with consultants & project managers: estimate efforts, communicate risks, co-create solutions.
* Scout the computer-vision landscape: evaluate new OSS models & commercial APIs and integrate the best into our stack.
* Discuss technical topics with customers when deep dives are needed.
Requirements
* 2 + years of professional experience in applied computer vision / deep learning.
* Expert knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow; confident in Python and modern C++.
* Solid ML-engineering skills: reproducible experiments, MLOps, model monitoring.
* Strong software-engineering mindset: Git, code reviews, design patterns, clean code.
* Experience guiding or coaching junior developers.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German.
