For PR electronics' German team, our office located in Düsseldorf, we are looking for an internal sales engineer, referring to the General Manager.
Main objectives & success criteria
Your role will be diverse and require a great overview.
You will be anchoring, linking, alligning, and supporting the external sales force by providing technical sales/service/consultancy/training backup. Moreover, you will engage in 1:1 problem solving and in-depth technical support for our customers.
Responsibilities
1. Handling incoming customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, and fax
2. Handling of customer inquiries received from external sales engineers
3. Pro-active lead and sales generation
4. Prequalification of technical requirements and commercial requirements
5. Preparation of quotes and quotation follow-ups
6. Liaise with global support team, product specialists for non-standard applications and external sales engineers
7. Own and manage all customer issues
8. Handling of order entry and liaise with the logistics team
9. High quality customer liaison during the sales process
10. Learn product knowledge via formal training and on the job training
11. Gain knowledge and understanding of commercial awareness
12. Attend training courses and workshops as required and share knowledge with an external team
Qualifications and experience
13. Experience in the process industry or with instrumentation is desired or alternatively commercial sales experience with products such as flow, level, pressure and temperature.
14. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high regard for exceptional customer service
15. Able to multi-task and independently prioritize job functions under pressure
16. Disciplined CRM & ERP user
17. Fluent in both written and oral English and German on a business level
