Summary
For the "Spectrum Dominance Application SW-Engineering" department, we are looking for a "Systems Engineer with a focus on software (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible
The "Spectrum Dominance Application SW-Engineering" department develops user software as part of a SW product suite for sea-, air- and land-based reconnaissance and self-protection systems.
Its contribution is to accompany the SW in the aspects of system engineering, to design the development process efficiently and thus to ensure the delivery capability of the SW for various projects.
Your Tasks
1. Creation of high-level software requirements
2. Creation and maintenance of plans for qualification and verification of product software
3. Definition and specification of verification procedures and implementation of formal verification
4. Planning, coordination and implementation of development milestones
5. Collaboration in the planning and monitoring of work packages
6. Communication interface between software development and internal customers
7. Collaboration in the creation of roadmaps for software development
Your Profile
8. Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or comparable
9. Several years of practical experience in software and/or systems engineering
10. Knowledge of the implementation of software development standards (DO-178C, DO-278A)
11. Good user knowledge of at least one programming language (C++ or Java)
12. Knowledge of communication technology basics (electromagnetic spectrum, signals, direction finders, receivers, radar, radar EW) advantageous
13. Enjoy teamwork and good communication skills
14. Very good knowledge of German and English
