An external freelance lecturer for “Frontend Programming” (m, f, d)
(Digital Business and Data Science, B.Sc.) in Hamburg, Germany
The teaching load comprises 3 SWS (teaching units with each unit being 45 min.).
The opportunity:
To become an adjunct lecturer at a university of applied sciences in Hamburg, Germany and to share your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the course (language of instruction: English), in particular:
* Hypertext markup languages (HTML, HTML DOM, etc.)
* Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming
* Cascading style sheet languages (CSS, SASS, etc.)
* Client-side interactive programming languages (JavaScript, JS6, node JS, Angular, JQuery, etc.)
* APIs standards (SOAP, JSON, REST, etc.)
* Android Programming languages, and / or iOS Programming languages, (Java, Kotlin, Dart, Swift, Flutter, etc.)
* The concept of Web mobile App, Hybrid App, Native App,
* Master the uses of Mobile App IDEs and emulator, under android or/and iOS (XCode, Android studio, etc.)
* Add mobile app component (button, menu, menu bar, icons, images, links, etc) • Multipage App, and page navigation
- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement
Your profile
* Relevant professional experience in the fields of Computer Science/Data Science
* Place of residence must be in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures must take place on-site or in a hybrid model; no option of teaching online)
* Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
* Teaching experience at universities is preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
* Experience working in international environments welcome
* Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen, e.g. you have full- or part-time employment or are a full-time registered freelancer
