Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our finance and accounting team in Germany, providing strategic support to our globally operating entities. You will be responsible for ensuring service quality, process efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies and deadlines.
Key responsibilities include managing the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing, being a strategic counterpart for the management team, and supporting the preparation and management of annual budgets.
You will also play an active role in the acquisition of potential additional companies and their subsequent integration.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field. Master's or MBA preferred.
* 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting including leading teams.
* Experience in an industrial company or in a leading auditing or consulting firm (e.g. E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG).
* Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, etc.).
* Experience in working with multinational teams or in a global matrix organization.
* Good understanding of the business of an industrial company in the area of product / component business.
