Job Title:Project Delivery ExpertSummary:To ensure a proactive safety culture is embedded within your area of responsibility, with the goal of making 'no one gets hurt' more than just a slogan – it becomes a reality. You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory and internal guidelines and procedures at Momentive.You will oversee the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of projects at our Leverkusen site, taking into account both statutory requirements and internal processes. This includes the application of project management standards from initial cost estimation through to detailed scheduling, gate reviews, value engineering, risk management and comprehensive project documentation.In addition, you will align yourself closely with technical equipment and implementation standards and lead complex, large-scale projects or programs.Responsibilities Include:Safe and independent multi-project management from definition to completion, including creation of investment applications and project reporting.Ensuring compliance with all EHS guidelines.Ensuring compliance with and execution of all required safety measures as well as translation of internal safety requirements.Closely collaborating with procurement regarding contract and procurement management.Covering holiday/illness cover for the Project Engineering Manager.Other project-related tasks.Qualifications:The following are required for the role:University degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master's or University/Diploma).Several years of experience in planning and executing capital expenditure projects (CapEx) in the manufacturing industry.Project management competencies and experience in indirectly leading project team members.Excellent analytical skills, structured and independent work approach.Exceptional communication skills, good assertiveness.High team ability, intercultural competence.User knowledge in common MS Office programs (including MS Project).SAP knowledge.Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).Preferably:Experience with capital expenditure projects in process technology and/or electrical engineering.Basic knowledge in Ex-Safety and Functional Safety.Initial leadership experience.We Offer:Momentive values your well-being and offers competitive total rewards and development programs.
