The Technical Safety & Asset Risk Team is charged with managing the technical safety and asset risks for our operational offshore wind fleet, as well as conducting accident investigations for incidents caused by technical issues. Our team drafts vital technical design specifications related to safety and oversees technical due diligence processes, along with integrating safety considerations during the design phase. Moreover, we define global standards for safe electrical operation (Safe Systems of Work) and handle the training and authorization of our technicians in the UK.
In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to engage actively in shaping the core processes and activities of our team, gaining deep insights into the technical construction and challenges during both the operational and design phases of offshore wind farms.
About the role:
1. Support the operational and technical risk management of our offshore wind fleet
2. Contribute to conducting asset risk stress tests
3. Perform detailed evaluations of technical risks and systematically analyze our operational fleet
4. Prepare and execute technically pertinent accident investigations and conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA)
5. Assist in the creation of governance documentation and BowTies within Technical Safety & Asset Risk
6. Develop training documentation for Safe Systems of Work procedures
7. Maintain our risk database and provide reports
Job requirements and experience:
8. Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
9. Strong communication skills
10. Good technical knowledge
11. Excellent proficiency in English
12. Advanced skills in MS Office
