Overview
The Credit Solutions business, part of Global Financing and Credit Trading (“GFCT”) specializes in Trading, underwriting, and financing of complex/illiquid credit assets across a wide range of structured products.
This role sits within the Structured Credit Financing pillar of the complex and focuses on providing financing secured by marketable credit assets in the formats such as TRS/repo/loan.
It is an opportunity to work on complex financing transactions with a diverse client/counterparty universe incl. but not limited to credit funds, hedge funds, PE funds, asset managers and insurers.
Your key responsibilities
1. Manage the loans portfolio by liaising with loan agent, client, internal or external legal counsel and operations team
2. Assist the execution of new transactions by working closely with coverage/structuring/other trading desks and internal infrastructure/risk teams
3. Manage the existing assets on the book which involves overseeing the day-to-day aspects of administration and operations (e.g. loan paydown, corporate actions, periodic reporting) and other financial/non-financial risks as required.
Your skills and experience
4. Background from loan agency/fund finance/leverage finance is preferred but not required.
5. Experience in dealing with loans and knowledge of credit facility agreement.
6. Knowledge of products relating to structured credit financing including TRS, Repo, Repack and related documentation (GMRA, ISDA, LMA, LSTA)
7. Effective verbal and written communication skills, and fluent with excel and ppt. Fluent in English, a second European language is a plus (French/Spanish/Italian).
8. A detail orientated nature, with strong reasoning and problem solving skills
