As the Global Operations Manager for Data Center, you'll be at the forefront of developing and deploying our manufacturing and supply chain strategy. Your role is crucial in ensuring that we provide the best possible service to our Data Centre customers, focusing on quality, delivery flexibility, and cost, all while fostering profitable growth for Danfoss
You will be the main contact for Data Center Products and Services on operations topics, leading a virtual team in operations and supply chain. Your role includes developing our global manufacturing strategy, ensuring growth capacity, addressing constraints, and maintaining suppliers. Additionally, you will track and report on strategy implementation and monitor KPIs.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Lead and develop virtual/matrix team within FC manufacturing and supply chain, secure required resources and collaborate with shared functions and product teams to drive agreed strategy and set priorities for Data Center Business Opportunity.
2. Ensure aligned DC targets definitions and delivery of all safety, customer service, quality, productivity, inventory and other financial metrics. Ensure mitigation actions on deviations to targets.
3. Establish demand plan aligned with the DC business expectations and drive a related logistic setup that assures the required customer availability.
4. Develop/deploy global manufacturing footprint strategy for DC in alignment with the business strategy. Define required CAPEX roadmap to implement strategy and secure required capacity for growth and remove capacity constraints.
5. Develop/deploy supplier base strategy for Data Center in liaison with Divisional and Segment Procurement team.
6. To effectively execute the quality assurance process, adhere to TS16949, ISO 9000, and ISO 14000 standards. Continuously strive to enhance quality key performance indicators (KPIs) year over year. Implement the Danfoss TS standard in a consistent manner.
7. Act as the primary operations liaison to key customers during capacity constraints and quality escalations, ensuring clear and timely communication of corrective actions, shipment timing and supply plans.
What We're Looking For
8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, Master's degree or MBA preferred.
9. 7+ years of experience in operations, capital planning, or strategic planning within a complex, technical environment.
10. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, experienced in leading in matrix organization.
11. Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives and customers.
12. Experience with capacity planning, CapEx projects, and customer engagement.
13. Experience in the data center, infrastructure, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
14. Experience with ERP and planning software experience (., SAP, Anaplan).
15. Familiarity with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning), PFEP, or Lean/continuous improvement frameworks.
16. Fluent in English is a must.
