About the Role
You will lead the resources that manage customer projects ensuring timely delivery, quality and profitability of the projects in the region. You will analyze the project and change requests to optimize regional profitability.
Your Team
Your regional team is made up of ~150 resources, comprised of SW/HW Project Leads, Systems Engineers, and supporting project management, operations, and finance roles.
What You Will Do
4. Overall responsibility for the P&L of the SBU’s Regional Projects
5. Assess the financial viability for all projects and change requests.
6. Maintain the overall development plan for all Regional Projects.
7. Implements overall quality practices and tools aligned with HARMAN standards.
8. Represent project development efforts with customer.
9. Supports regional RFI/RFQ
10. Staff and maintain department resources which includes career growth and technical skills enhancements.
What You Need
11. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
12. 15+ years of overall professional experience in project management, development and delivery
13. 7+ years in leading multi-national teams/resources
14. 5+ years in experience in financial management and P&L responsibility
15. Proven expertise in developing complex systems from architecture to implementation
16. Proven ability to lead, mentor and grow diverse teams
What is Nice to Have
17. Master's Degree in Engineering, MBA
18. Experience in automotive project development.
What Makes You Eligible
19. Be willing to travel up to 30% domestic and international travel
20. Be willing to work in an office in North America/Germany, depending on regional responsibilities.
