What you'll do
1. Design and implement backup solutions for the database HANA and ASE.
2. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to fully understand their needs and ensure all requirements are met.
3. Document the backup solutions comprehensively.
4. Work on the enablement and migration of solutions.
5. Generate reports for various use cases and communicate the implementation and enablement of solutions to stakeholders.
6. As a student (f/m/d), you will have flexible working hours, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester, based on an hourly wage.
What you bring
7. You are a Master's student pursuing a degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security, or have comparable work experience.
8. Additional qualities: You have an affinity for processes and are a self-motivated team player.
9. Strong conceptual understanding & knowledge on HANA and ASE
10. Experience in DB Backup and Restore
11. DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, System Copies, high availability and disaster recovery strategy
12. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to innovate and adapt to new challenges and evolving business requirements.
13. You have strong prioritization and deadline management skills.
14. You have a keen interest in learning and working on cloud storage and cloud-native solutions.
15. Soft skills: You are a team player, highly organized, and creative.
16. Fluency in English is required.

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services is part of the SAP Product Engineering board area in SAP. SAP Enterprise Cloud Services is a business unit focusing on delivery of managed private cloud services. Business Continuity & Architecture team in ECS will be developing an Enterprise standard backup solution where there are architects and developers are part of it.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
