A vacancy for Avionics V&V Engineer in the Navigation system team has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Main Tasks:
* Responsibility for the integration and management of specific equipment and systems (both airborne and ground segments, at hardware and functional level) necessary in the system to perform its intended missions.
* Development of Test Procedures, Certification and Verification Documents
* Perform and/or monitor tests and perform analysis of test results
* Support Certification and Qualification process
* Support the whole design process including design review meetings (internal, supplier and customer milestones)
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or comparable discipline
* At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field
* Desirable background / knowledge: Aircraft Avionic/Navigation Systems, Software Test Engineering, Requirements Based Engineering
* Analytical thinking skills, independent working style and good communication skill
* The ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team
* Fluent in English
