Participants will gain first-hand insights into investment banking, including key processes, day-to-day responsibilities and the skill set required to build a successful career in the industry. The day will begin with an introduction to Houlihan Lokey and perspectives on working in investment banking, followed by a deep-dive into a real-life M&A case. In an interactive workshop, participants will work in teams to prepare a board meeting deck, applying core M&A concepts in practice. Each team will present their results and receive direct feedback from experienced M&A professionals. As part of a dedicated Women in Finance Q&A Session, Managing Director Madeleine Jahr will share her career path, industry perspectives and advice on navigating a career in investment banking.
