Your mission
Create our corporate image - clear, effective and forward-looking.
As Corporate Communications Manager (m/f/d), you will be jointly responsible for Intershop's entire corporate communications - both externally and internally. You will develop clear messages, manage our press, public relations and media work, be responsible for our social media channels and oversee internal communications as well as selected investor relations topics.
Your role will combine strategic communications thinking with operational implementation - cross-channel, relevant and effective.
A regular presence in Jena is important for this role in order to maintain local press relations, actively shape internal information flows and further expand our regional network.
External Communications:
* Helping to develop and implement our corporate communications and international media relations strategy
* Responsible for our press and public relations: story planning, press releases, interviews, media contacts
* Positioning corporate and product issues through thought leadership, media relations & storytelling
Social media (owned channels):
* Supporting and developing our social media strategy
* Editorial support for our corporate presence on business and social media platforms
* Development and implementation of channel-specific content formats (slides, videos, story formats) to strengthen our brand and employer positioning
Internal communications:
* Organise internal events such as monthly meetups and lunch & learn sessions
* Developing knowledge transfer, employee communication and collaboration formats to strengthen internal dialogue, e.g. regular production and distribution of an internal newsletter
* Supporting change and leadership communications
Investor Relations (in close cooperation with Finance):
* Editorial maintenance of IR-relevant website content (e.g. mandatory publications, ad-hoc news)
* Support with the organisation of IR events, such as conferences and annual general meetings
Interface work & process ownership:
* Working closely with marketing, HR, finance, management and partner team
* Manage external agencies and service providers as required
Your profile
* 3-5 years of professional experience in PR or corporate communications - ideally in an international B2B and/or software environment and with experience in IR
* Strong communication and editorial skills - precise, target-oriented, stylistically confident (German/English)
* Experience in maintaining and managing corporate presence on social media and business platforms
* Initiative, quick comprehension and the ability to communicate complex issues in an understandable and appealing way
* High level of self-motivation and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to address different stakeholders in a targeted manner
* Confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with sensitive issues
* Preferably some experience of paid social media or campaign management
