Position Summary: As a Security Installation / Service Technician, you will be key in delivering top-tier service to our valued customers by responding to service calls, supporting Customer Support Programs, and executing small-scale projects. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
* Install, program, test, repair, and service various systems, including security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation equipment, with guidance as needed.
* Collaborate with customers and colleagues to provide expert technical support and training, escalating complex challenges to experienced team members when necessary.
* Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment using your knowledge of electronics, standard test instruments, and hand tools.
* Support project leads by providing critical installation assistance and suggesting improvements to enhance quality and profitability.

* Basic construction knowledge and the ability to interpret system plans.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and design drawings, including wiring, labelling, and installation methods (e.g., J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).
* Practical mechanical and electrical skills, with experience using drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, hacksaws, and crimpers.
