Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary team investigating stromal-epithelial crosstalk in colorectal cancer initiation, progression, and therapy resistance.
This research project aims to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the transition of fibroblasts from healthy colon tissue into distinct cancer-associated fibroblast subpopulations and their impact on epithelial plasticity and immune responses.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for colorectal cancer by integrating state-of-the-art single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics with advanced co-culture organoid assays and in vivo models.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment between the University of Luxembourg and KU Leuven, fostering cutting-edge research and academic excellence.
