The Team and the Role

At Equinix, we help the world’s digital leaders scale with agility during their digital transformation journey.

ThisAccount Executive will work with new and inactive Network Service Providers (Telcos, ISP, Content Service Providers, Subsea cable companies, Fiber companies) selling Equinix solutions in support of their growth and optimization.

The Role

1. Own an assigned portfolio of local,regionaland global network accounts. Build andmaintaincustomer relationships across varying LOBsandlead thefull sales cycle fromdiscovery andpipeline creationtonegotiation and close

2. Mine dormant, under-penetrated, and regional prospect accountsadoptingtheChallengermethodology,buildingawareness of Equinix value, generatingdemandandnurturinga pipeline of opportunitiesthrougha demonstratedunderstanding of current market dynamics, customer business needs and challenges, andsolution selling.

3. Manageanexistingportfolio of accounts and services to ensureEquinixvalue is realized, churn ismitigatedandthe customer’s business prioritiesare well understood.Knowledge of the account and stakeholdersarefullyintegrated intotheglobal and regional accountplans,Quarterly Business Reviews, coordinated customer responses,accurateforecasting and delivery against revenue and growthobjectives.

4. Lead complex sales engagement and solutioningend‑to‑endto progress opportunities, structure solutions, and delivercustomer‑alignedoutcomesbyorchestratingthe extended sales and supportteams(Global Account Executive, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Care, Sales Support, Commercial Solutions, Marketing, Sales Operations,Billing,etc.)

You bring extensive sales hunting experience selling into new,inactiveor existing accounts with LOBs yet to be explored.You have a tenure of building long lasting customer relationships, farming existing accounts,challengingcustomer mindset,supporting a customer’s digitaltransformationandcreating urgencyfor action. Youthrive by creating new opportunities. Youexhibitambition and drive, with a proven track record of doing business differently in alignment with the changing market landscape.

You own an Equinix franchise selling into each of your accounts. You are in the driver’s seat deciding who should take the steering wheel depending on the business need or engagement.

You are a storyteller who loves pursuing new opportunities and builds relationships with new stakeholders and customers, driving positive impact, marketreadinessand closing future-proofed infrastructure solutions.

You represent Equinix and the NSP (Network Service Provider) EMEA team. Your energy defines us.
