Job Description: * We aim to understand how defense proteins of the innate immune system detect and combat bacterial pathogens, and how these pathogens evade immune responses. To fundamentally understand these host-pathogen interactions, we use an interdisciplinary approach combining molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, immunology, biophysics, and biochemistry.
