This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES)-Europe within Germany and EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany. Hauptaufgaben Patient Management: Manages patient appointment schedules, coordinating with other clinics as needed. Accurately enters and updates patient information in multiple healthcare information systems and processes requests for tests and orders. Front Desk & Communication: Serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, both in-person and by phone. Manages incoming messages, answers inquiries, verifies patient eligibility, and provides information about clinic policies and procedures. Record Keeping: Maintains both electronic and paper patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Prepares patient charts and monitors record completeness. Administrative Support: Provides general clerical support including typing reports, managing patient flow (in/out processing), and reconciling daily tasks. Emergency Response: Responds to emergency calls, follows established communication procedures, and provides essential information to medical personnel during emergencies. Qualifikationsanforderungen E&T Level I: 2 years of general experience as described below. *Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation, must have 2 years of creditable experience that included simple clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc. E&T Level II: 1 year of general experience as described below. E&T Level III A and IV A: No additional experience required, however, the completed apprenticeship must have been as a Doctor's Assistant, or in a commercial, business or administrative occupation, e.g. Industriekaufmann/ frau, Kaufmann/frau im Gross und Einzelhandel, or in steuer- und wirtschaftsberatenden Berufen, Rechtsanwaltskanzleien, Banken or similar occupations. E&T Level III B and C: No additional experience required. E&T Level IV B and C: Not creditable for positions in this occupational series E&T Level IV D and V: No additional experience required. The applicant must obtain the certificate from the local resident registration office. The cost for the certificate is not reimbursable. Non-U.S. citizen family members, except German citizens are exempt from this requirement. * Upon appointment with the U.S. Forces it is required to present two valid picture identifications to get access to the computer systems. We recommend ensuring at the time of application that at least two of these documents are available or requested. * Foreign National Screening (Sicherheitsüberprüfung): In accordance with U.S. Army Europe Regulation 604-1, within three days after appointment, a background check will be initiated to determine suitability for continued employment with the U. S. Forces in Germany.
