Ourclient is a global online fashion retailer. They are looking for a marketing manager to join their team in Germany. In this role you will be involved in preparing marketing analysis, marketing trends, market and competitor insights. You will support in developing marketing strategies including branding, social media, SEP, and paid advertising.
As such, you will oversee brand positioning and strategy, and communications aiming to raise brand awareness. You will also provide creative insight, and strategic planning for online and offline marketing, and look after daily e-commerce operations, campaign strategy planning, and execution.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketer with previous experience in e-commerce and online retail, with some fashion sector experience or interest in this field. You will be a strong communicator with strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions based on data and market trends.
Key responsibilities
* Lead market research efforts focussing on competitive analysis, digital trends
* Produce insights on leading companies and conduct in-depth analysis on key industry trends, and policies.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of corporate objectives and develop strategies for the Marketing team, including branding, social media, SEO, paid ads, and e-commerce operations.
* Oversee brand management and marketing responsibilities, such as brand positioning, brand strategy, and brand communications, in order to raise brand awareness
* Take ownership of developing marketing strategies, planning marketing projects, managing marketing budgets, and successfully implementing marketing-related tasks.
* Provide creative insight as well as strategic planning for online and offline marketing
* Oversee the daily e-commerce operations, including but not limited to e-commerce activity coordination, campaign strategy planning, and execution.
* Work cross functionally with different team (research, media, product, operations, etc.), collaborate with campaign partners, integrate internal and external marketing resources, and facilitate business expansion.
Requirements
* Around 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in marketing
* Degree or equivalent education in marketing, advertising, or communication.
* Excellent brand strategy, marketing planning, and project management skills.
* Proficiency in integrated marketing communication.
* Demonstrable ability in overseeing team projects from conception to completion.
* Analytical thinker with an ability to make strategic marketing decisions based on insight
* Fluency in English and Mandarin (highly desirable)
