You will primarily support our customers based in Germany utilising our Optical Emission Spectroscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence and Robotic Automation product portfolio.
You will:
1. Own and deliver on service activities such as installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, problem solving on scientific instruments
2. Provide specific product support on OES, XRF, XRD and automation instruments.
3. Work remotely providing on-site services exceeding customer expectations and ensuring that customers become promoters of our business through positive feedback and dedication.
4. Deliver the highest professional relationship with our customer base, raising technical issues to quickly resolve accurately critical tasks.
5. Enable the customer's success through their partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
6. Optimise own work schedule by coordinating with all the required partners for service planning (Dispatch function, Team Leader, Senior Manager)
7. Handle company assets including parts inventory, laptop computer, mobile phone, test equipment, tools, software, company car etc.
8. Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of activities including field service reports and expenses reports
9. Collaborate with the Sales team regarding lead generation, customer activities and updates.

Who we are looking for:
10. Professional background in Electronics/Engineering or related subjects
11. Experience in handling or servicing technical equipment gained
12. Knowledge of spectroscopy would be an advantage, but not critical
13. Fluent in German, with a good proficiency in English
14. A valid Driver’s License
15. Comfortable working in a customer-facing role, with an always customer-centric approach
16. A high willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
17. Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
18. Self-sufficient; comfortable working independently and a logical approach to setting work priorities
19. Willing and able to travel extensively across the region (80%). Constantly within Germany, and occasionally within the EMEA region for training or special assignments worldwide)
