Accounting Manager Position Overview
This role involves leading an accounting team and overseeing financial planning and execution for a family office in Luxembourg.
Main Responsibilities:
* Full Cycle Accounting: Manage the entire accounting process for a portfolio of structures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
* Tax Compliance: Prepare and review VAT and tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations and minimize any potential liabilities.
* Communication: Maintain effective communication with external service providers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Key Qualifications:
* Credentials: A degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with relevant professional certifications.
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an accountant in Luxembourg, preferably in a similar role.
* Languages: Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in French is highly desirable.
* Skillset: Ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
