(Senior) Accountant (f/m/d)
To support our Accounting team we are searching for a (Senior) Accountant (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Monitoring of end-to-end processes in the accounts payable area of the group
2. Ensuring proper periodic accounting as well as the quality and reliability of P&L and balance sheet positions
3. Taking on project responsibility for the further development and optimization of ongoing accounting processes (interfaces)
4. Assessing accounting and tax-related issues, business transactions, and matters
5. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
6. Collaborating with auditors and tax advisors
WHO YOU ARE
7. Completed commercial training, preferably with further qualification as a certified accountant/tax specialist or a degree, along with relevant professional experience in accounts payable accounting (at least 3+ years)
8. Knowledge of HGB and German tax laws
9. Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel
10. Experience with DATEV or similar finance and accounting software is a strong plus
11. Quick comprehension and strong process understanding, combined with a careful, independent, and structured working style
12. Very good German skills and good English skills
