As Databricks continues to scale across EMEA, we are seeking a strategic Enterprise Hunter Account Executive to drive our expansion within the German market. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end sales cycle for a portfolio of enterprise-level accounts - from initial hunting and discovery to closing and long-term expansion. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping you customer base leverage the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to solve their most critical data and AI challenges and deliver measurable business value.
The impact you will have:
1. Identify new business opportunities, win new clients and increase the subsequent usage of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
2. Assess your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers and stakeholders
3. Use a solution-based approach to selling and demonstrate value to potential new clients
4. Conclude quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
5. Track all customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
6. Own the consumption story with your customers, using demand plans to identify the most viable use cases in each account to maximise the Databricks impact
7. Orchestrate and work with internal teams to maximize the impact on your ecosystem
8. Build exceptional value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations to close point
What we look for:
9. Track record of achieving and over-achieving against quota
10. Experience selling complex software (ideally with a focus on data & AI) to new enterprise clients in Germany
11. A passion for winning new clients (also known as the hunter mentality!)
12. Strong tenure in previous roles
13. Understanding of consumption-based, land and expand sales models advantageous
14. Evidence of creating demand and delivering substantial value for clients
15. Experience working with sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling and accurate forecasting
16. Experience developing partnerships with "champions" and client teams to support execution of your territory plan
17. Fluent German and business English required
