He or she is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all HR processes and acts as a key interface between executive management, line managers, and employees. The objective of this position is to strengthen a positive corporate culture, ensure efficient HR operations, and guarantee compliance with legal requirements. The HR Manager reports directly to the Associate Director – Human Resources and plays a key role in shaping our commitment to excellence in people management. Key Responsibilities: Strategic and operational management of all HR processes and ensuring efficient workflows Advising and supporting managers in Germany and other European countries on all HR-related and labor law matters Implementing global HR strategies at a national level, taking local requirements into account Full ownership of the entire HR lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, talent development, employee retention through to offboarding – including collaboration with external agencies and contract negotiations Preparing job offers based on benchmarking and salary analyses Participating in European HR projects, particularly in the area of benefits Delivering internal training sessions (e.g. change management, onboarding for new employees and managers) Organizing and implementing occupational health and safety measures at the supported locations Leading an HR team of four employees, both professionally and disciplinarily Onboarding and mentoring new HR team members Creating and maintaining HR reports as well as updating and implementing HR policies Working in a matrix organization and closely collaborating with other departments Direct reporting line to the Associate Director – Human Resources Requirements/Qualifications: Completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in HR management, ideally in international or matrix-structured organizations Strong knowledge of German labor law; knowledge of European labor law is an advantage Proven experience in change management and implementing HR strategies Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience with benchmarking and salary analysis Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills to professionally and disciplinarily manage an HR team Project management experience and the ability to successfully deliver cross-functional HR projects Hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and the capability to build trust across all hierarchical levels Business-fluent German and English Confident use of modern HR software (e.g. Workday) Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information Travel Time: No Travel To all recruitment agencies : Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
