As part of its sustainable and successful development we are now looking to fill the (new) position "Senior Manager Corporate Accounting & Tax / International (m/f/d)" for the group´s Corporate headquarter in the heart of the very attractive "Rhine-Neckar metropolitan-area" (Germany).We are seeking a strategic and experienced International Accounting and Tax-Compliance Manager to oversee the organization's global financial reporting, tax compliance and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, minimizing tax-risk and aligning accounting practices across international operations.DescriptionAccounting LeadershipOversee International accounting operations, including transactional accounting, general ledger, consolidation, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAPs).Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all regions.Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits. Risk Management & ControlsDesign and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting and tax compliance.Identify and mitigate financial and tax risks through proactive planning and governance.Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and disclosures. Tax ComplianceIn collaboration with external advisors, manages direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing and withholding taxes.Monitor changes in International tax legislation and assess impact on business operations. Team Leadership & CollaborationCollaborate with legal, treasury, operations, and business units to support strategic goals.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity and accountability.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and/or Accounting - or a comparable qualificationAdditional professional accounting qualification/s required (e.g. Wirtschaftspruefer/in (WP), CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA - or an equivalent accounting qualification).Several years of progressive experience in International accounting-roles.Deep knowledge of International accounting standards (especially IFRS and German-GAAP (HGB)) and regulatory frameworksProven track record in managing cross-border teams and complex compliance environments.Experience in ERP systems (SAP) and tax compliance software.Fluent in English and German; proficiency in other European languages would be a plusSome business travel required.
