Representative (deputy): System Engineer High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers
Objective of the role: Technical Customer Support and Demand CreationMain Responsibilities:
1. Compiling of technical specifications for gate driver designs
2. Circuit design of gate drivers including selection and evaluation of suitable components
3. Layout of printed circuit boards including compilation of related production data for external manufacturing partners
4. Low and high voltage evaluation of gate driver designs
5. Review an analysis of competitor products
6. Compiling of related gate driver documentation in English language
7. Visiting customers for support and demand creation (in conjunction with Sales)
General Responsibilities:
8. Technical support towards Sales and Marketing
9. Technical support towards customers and business partners
10. Communication and bridging function between customer, sales and marketing
11. Compilation of technical papers and editorials including of presenting them at public conferences
12. Attendance at exhibitions as technical peer for customers and business partners
13. Giving trainings for internal and external customers
14. Visit customer for demand creation
Education and work experience:
15. Degree in electrical engineering or other deep technical background in power electronics
16. 2 years' relevant experience preferred
Professional expertise:
17. Experience in power electronics especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems and/or IGBT and MOSFET technologies
18. Experience in circuit design and layout of printed circuit boards with CAD systems like for instance Altium Designer
19. Experience in characterization of gate drivers, power semiconductors and/or inverter system
Soft skills:
20. Proven capability in handling complex projects and being effective while interfacing with different teams
21. Very good command of spoken and written English
22. Be willing and having the flexibility to travel on demand
23. Ability in promoting and demand creation at customer
