You will be the go-to expert for complex negotiations, providing both hands-on and strategic guidance to transform settings and outcomes. Each day, you will engage in impactful negotiations, optimise supplier agreements, and enhance procurement processes. Your expertise will directly influence our corporate procurement strategies, contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of reimagining energy for a sustainable world.How You’ll Make an Impact
10. Collaborate with commodity managers to prepare, develop, and implement negotiation strategies that optimize supplier agreements, achieving significant impact through cost optimization and cost recovery.
11. Act as lead negotiator in challenging negotiations with key suppliers to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
12. Establish a negotiation competence hub in collaboration with colleagues and validate and shape how negotiation targets and outcomes are defined.
13. Align negotiation strategies with overall procurement objectives through cross-functional collaboration and advise Procurement executives.
14. Provide guidance and training on negotiation best practices to the procurement team while ensuring lessons learned are integrated into corporate procurement strategies.
15. Champion digital innovation and continuous improvement to transform negotiation processes and foster a culture of excellence within the organization.
What You Bring
16. Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field with longstanding experience as a senior negotiator in strategic procurement and a successful track record in high‑stakes negotiations.
17. Deep understanding of negotiation principles, practices, and advanced techniques.
18. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
19. Familiarity with digital negotiation tools and willingness to drive innovation.
20. Experience in building strong internal networks and advocating for ideas effectively.
21. Proficiency in English with strong communication and influencing skills as well as the ability to coach and challenge peers and leaders.
