In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Dept. ETI / Lehrstuhl Zuverlässigkeit Technischer Systeme und Elektrischer Messtechnik, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.10.2025 at the following conditions:
1. 100% = 39,83 hours
2. Pay grade 13 TV-L
3. limited for a period of 3 years with the possibility of extension
Your tasks:
Collaborations in the main research areas:
4. Electromagnetic Compatibility
5. Reliability of technical systems
In particular, the research shoud focus on the following topics and activities:
6. Modelling, analysis, and equivalence of test methods in Electromagnetic Compatibility
7. Extending Electromagnetic Compatibility to aspects of reliability, safety and risk analysis
8. Publication of research results in relevant international journals and active participation in conferences
9. Support of research and teaching, supervision of students and participation in administrative tasks
10. Support of the Bachelor and Master programs of the department
11. Teaching duties: 4 semester hours per week
Your profile:
12. Very good Master degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Physics
13. Very good knowledge in electromagnetic field theory or microwave engineering
14. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, very good communication skills
15. Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
