We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead and expand Aptiv’s global partnership ecosystem. This individual will drive strategic collaborations across product areas—including active safety, infotainment, connected services, and intelligent software platforms—to accelerate product innovation, customer adoption, and ecosystem reach.
Your role:
1. Identify, assess, negotiate, and establish strategic alliances with OEMs, Tier1s, Tier 2s, algorithm and AI software providers, semiconductor suppliers, and emerging technology companies.
2. Drive cross-functional internal alignment across product, engineering, marketing, legal, and sales teams to support successful partnership execution
3. Shape long-term partnership strategies around Audio, Interior Sensing, Android Automotive OS, software-defined vehicle architecture, vehicle connectivity, middleware components (e.g. OTA, containerization), and autonomous systems
4. Track technology trends, adjacent markets, and new entrants to inform and update Aptiv’s partnership roadmap
5. Represent Aptiv in industry consortia, standards bodies, and at relevant global events to build visibility and credibility
6. Create and deliver robust business cases that support executive decision-making and partnership prioritization
7. Ensure ongoing governance and performance tracking of strategic partnerships against defined KPIs
Your background:
8. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science; MBA or equivalent preferred
9. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or partner management roles in high-tech, automotive, or mobility sectors
10. Proven track record structuring and executing partnerships involving software platforms, embedded systems, or cloud-connected technologies
11. In-depth understanding of automotive E/E architecture, infotainment technologies, middleware stacks, and ADAS/AV system requirements
12. Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence across cultures and time zones
13. High comfort operating in a matrixed and fast-evolving organization with shifting priorities and high complexity
14. Fluent in English written & spoken. Further language skills preffered.
