Well then, here are your tasks as a Sales Support Engineer (Eastern Europe) (f/m/x) at d&b:
* Organisation and delivery of specialized training and workshops in collaboration with distributors within the assigned sales regions, including the introduction of new products to the market.
* Participate in the organisation and implementation of seminars and product demonstrations at international trade fairs and congresses.
* Regular participation in the implementation of the international workshops and seminars as part of the d&b HQ training calendar.
* Support the distributors in the assigned sales region to participate in international and local seminars & workshops.
* Presenting new products to/for assigned distributors and conducting initial training of technical staff on the new products and technologies.
* Organisation and selection of competent translators or interpreters in the context of a training beyond the German or English language.
* Carrying out field tests with new products. Evaluation of the product description (specifications) at the beginning of the project development. Evaluating brochures and manuals for consistency. Definition of technical information and application notes.
* Representation of the d&b brand and its product philosophy.
* Planning of complex sound reinforcement systems using acoustic simulation programs (EASE, CATT, d&b ArrayCalc). Installation and commissioning of sound reinforcement systems on site using acoustic measurement systems (REW, Tuning Capture, NC in accordance with official standards and guidelines (DIN, EN, BGV...).
* Theoretical and practical integration of new own and third-party technologies in existing and future fixed installations and mobile applications.
* Testing and evaluating the set-up of sound systems of our distributors in the assigned sales region.
* Maintain up to date project information within the relevant d&b platforms.
* Building trust and working relationships with key users/specifiers within the assigned market.
* Product and application-related consulting for our distributors within the assigned sales territory; design and submission of solutions within and outside the d&b Service Module.
* Advisor for queries from interested visitors at trade fairs, as well as the international d&b Sales Managers in their project and strategy meetings with their distributors and partners in the assigned sales region.
* Without exception, support tasks are handled in a process-trusted manner. Supporting general enquiries through the d&b online support system as part of a wider case handling team.
* Build and maintain relationships with key people within and outside our industry, such as architects, acoustic consultants, planar/sound designers and sound engineers, to raise awareness of d&b as a brand and its products.

* Preferred location is Backnang (Germany). Candidates based in Eastern European countries are also welcome to apply.
* Formal higher education in sound engineering is desired; completed training with a range of audio manufacturers is essential.
* At least 5 years experience working in the live sound industry, ideally with presentation/training experiences.
* Fluent English is a must. Knowledge of other Eastern European languages (e.g. Polish, Greek, German) is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, including collaborative teamwork and the ability to work across internal and external departments and organizations. Comfortable with delivering presentations in a classroom setting.
* Proficient in AC and R1 software, CAD tools such as Vectorworks and AutoCAD, acoustic modelling software like EASE and ArrayCalc, Microsoft Office applications, and measurement software including REW and Smaart.
* Confident handling of our own technologies (d&b ArrayCalc/R1/NoizCalc/AP) as well as software and hardware from other suppliers.
