Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Planner to manage and coordinate project planning activities for large-scale downstream oil & gas projects in the northern region of the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 expertise and proven experience in refinery, petrochemical, or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) activities into a comprehensive master schedule.
* Monitor project progress, identify delays, and provide recovery plans.
* Lead regular planning meetings and coordinate with project managers and discipline leads.
* Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
* Ensure alignment with client and contractor timelines and reporting standards.
* Support risk analysis and change management processes.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Project Controls, or related field.
* 5+ years of planning/scheduling experience in downstream oil & gas projects.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office Suite.
* Strong knowledge of EPC project phases and work breakdown structures (WBS).
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
* EU work authorization required.
