Deine Aufgaben
The Director Group Accounting will be responsible for leading and managing the Group Accounting team. The role involves serving as the central point of contact for all IFRS accounting and valuation issues related to group reporting for various departments, subsidiary companies, and international branches. Key responsibilities include:
* IFRS Expertise: Act as the primary liaison for all IFRS-related accounting and valuation matters concerning the group's reporting system for various business units and subsidiaries.
* Coordination and Assurance: Oversee and ensure the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the DERTOUR sub-group.
* Reporting Packages: Assist in the preparation of reporting packages for the Tourism segments, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
* PMI Finance: Manage post-merger integration finance activities, including initial consolidation and purchase price allocations for acquired businesses.
* Financial Data Management: Coordinate and ensure accurate representation of financial data, monitoring, documentation, and analysis in accordance with IFRS. Provide comprehensive financial information to the DERTOUR management team in close collaboration with Group Controlling and Group Treasury.
* IFRS Implementation: Lead the implementation of new IFRS accounting standards across the group.
* Operational Support: Advise and support operational segments concerning financial analysis and planning, addressing any inquiries related to financial management and reporting.
Dein Profil
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred.
* Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
* Extensive experience in IFRS accounting and reporting, preferably within a large multinational organization.
* Proven track record in managing financial transactions and reporting, including acquisitions and consolidations.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
