About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. This includes consolidations for internal and external reporting, as well as the preparation and optimization of management reporting with a strong focus on sales controlling.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company, and possess excellent analytical skills and a structured way of working. They should be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and have experience with ERP systems such as Sage or Oracle.
Responsibilities
* Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
* Perform consolidations for internal and external reporting
* Preparation and optimization of management reporting with a strong focus on sales controlling
* Prepare weekly sales reporting and facilitate sales calls with the sales and management team
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards
* Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
* Conduct budget controls and analysis to assist management in making financial decisions
* Implementation of target/actual comparisons and deviation analyses
* Preparation of detailed financial analyses to evaluate business development
* Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses for management and other departments
* Support the introduction, development, and optimization of reporting tools and processes (Netsuite)
* Identification and implementation of improvements in existing controlling processes
Requirements
* Completed business studies with a focus on controlling, finance, or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company
* Ideal experience in working in an international environment
* Good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS, HGB is a plus
* Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel; Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Oracle) is an advantage
* Knowledge in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
* Good analytical skills and a structured way of working
* High degree of initiative, reliability, and ability to work in a team
* Good communication skills and assertiveness
* Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German is a plus
