Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Provide financial planning and analysis for the European business across channels for all European Business Units. Be the financial business and sparring partner to the SVP adidas and the SVP Reebok in Europe. Contribute to sustainable short, mid and longer term Sales, Margin & Volume Planning by category and make sure that all business planning and forecasting activities are lined up to match the plans. Support the European Business Units with operational, tactical and strategic planning and business cases to ensure profitable business and healthy growth. Create business transparency through financial analysis for categories which might require in depths Franchise, Model, Article deep dives. Additional focus on MWB, Std. Margin, GIM and category contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional:
* Moderation of Seasonal Planning Process and Integration into Demand &Supply Planning for Europe
* Leads Long Term Marketing Planning and seasonal planning process (Net Sales, Margin, Volume)
* Partners with marketing leadership to analyze, design and execute pricing strategies to maximize profitability and optimal product mix
* Develop Business Analysis & Business Plan thinking for the European Brand Organisation.
* Analyzes proposed business opportunities, projects and other pending decisions for Brand and Marketing activation to determine impact on company’s financial results and to identify ways to improve the economics for the Company and prepares post mortems on outcomes
* Leads profitability efforts by setting up and facilitate timely seasonal margin planning activities
* Coordinate Brand FP&A topics for Europe

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Advanced MS-Office knowledge, advanced SAP (CO, BI) knowledge
* English: fluent; German a plus
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree in business administration with a focus on Finance / Controlling
* Functional: 8-10 years professional experience
* Broad and deep knowledge in Marketing or brand driven environment
* Leadership: min 3 years leadership of experts
* Exposure: analytical skills, figures
