Head of Demand Planning & Forecast Management (m/f/d)
We’re looking for a data‑driven team leader who can take full ownership of demand, material and production planning for IronMaxx’s fast‑growing international operation. As Head of Demand Planning & Forecast Management you will drive forecast accuracy, streamline planning processes, and empower cross‑functional teams to deliver consistent supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of creating, enhancing and maintaining accurate forecasts, demand plans and production plans.
* Close collaboration with Sales, eCommerce, Finance and Product Development to ensure precise demand alignment.
* Efficient use and continuous improvement of our demand‑planning tools (e.g., SAP Business One, Streamline) to increase forecast accuracy.
* Steering of material planning, production planning and supply chain processes across all stages.
* Monitoring production progress, delivery status, stock levels and potential bottlenecks.
* Analysis of forecast deviations, derivation of corrective actions and implementation of sustainable improvements.
* Ensuring smooth material and product flows through close coordination with all internal interfaces.
* Managing and coordinating suppliers – including contract handling and proactive communication.
* Supporting projects focused on efficiency, cost optimisation and process improvement within the supply chain.
Qualifications & Skillset
* Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a comparable field.
* 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning / Forecasting / Supply Chain (ideally in FMCG/E‑Commerce/Pharma).
* Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and confident handling of ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP Business One, Streamline).
* Proven leadership experience with team coordination.
* Structured, analytical and solution‑oriented way of working.
* High affinity for process optimisation, data and KPIs.
* Very good English language skills.
