Location: Kleinmachnow (Berlin region)
Contracttype: Full-time (30 teaching units per week / 40 working hours per week)
Start date: 1st. August 2026
Limited initially until 31st July 2028
Vacation: The school year includes up to 180 teaching days and a total of 187 work days (see our for the exact schedule).
Salary range: €55,059 - €61,885 gross/year (based on experience/classification) plus annual CPI-based adjustments / potential responsibility stipends
About this role:
We are seeking an energetic, internationally-minded teacher committed to academic excellence, inclusive practice, and holistic education. You will teach IBDP/MYP Individuals & Societies—with a focus on Psychology - inspiring students from grade 6 to 12 to become creative, critical, and globally aware thinkers.
Instruction: Teach IBDP/IBMYP Individuals & Societies, fostering a safe, secure, and stimulating environment. You incorporate varied instructional models and assessment methods to optimize student learning.
Development: Lead the development of inquiry-based and conceptually driven curriculum units.
Inclusion: Value and make productive use of the diversity of cultures and perspectives within our community, ensuring students of all backgrounds feel represented.
Engagement: Motivate and inspire students to be actively engaged in their own learning and to develop a deep interest in human societies and environments.
Support: Promote student well-being and academic growth, demonstrating the ability to teach effectively across a diverse range of motivations and abilities.
Collaboration: Plan collaboratively across disciplines and participate actively in the school’s ambitious and dynamic community.
Specialized Teaching: Ideally contribute to Theory of Knowledge (ToK) instruction, Personal Project, Extended Essay, and CAS.
Education: Teaching certification, preferably with a Master’s degree in Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: Experience teaching the IBDP/IBMYP programme or similar backgrounds (AP, A-Level, IGCSE); international school experience is a plus.
Communication: Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
