The Automation Engineering team plays a vital role in the digital transformation of our global factory network by defining, realizing and operating modern shop-floor systems. We act as a business partner to the factories bringing innovative project to live.
For this role, our focus is on maintenance : we are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in maintenance operations and deep technical expertise in SAP PM. While manufacturing processes are relatively mature and stable, the maintenance area is where we need to drive significant impact, shaping global standards and enabling digital innovation.
As Business Implementation Manager Plant Manufacturing & Maintenance, you are part of the global Engineering Team and will own, develop and maintain the global manufacturing ERP process blueprints with a focus on maintenance (SAP PM). As a strategic bridge between factory operations and IT you will ensure seamless integration of business requirements into global systems, coordinate global implementations and continuous improvement across global ManEx pillars in order to drive value on factory KPIs focused on asset performance – also, through digital innovations (e.g., predictive maintenance, IIoT) that align with business goals and technology strategy.
Relevant tasks will include:
 1. Own, define and maintain global manufacturing & maintenance systemic process landscapes in close alignment with operational excellence functions within global ManEx pillars (AM/PM)
 2. Collect, assess and prioritize business requirements from the sites and translate into global change requests acting as decision-maker in balancing standards and site-specific needs
 3. Lead the global rollout and implementation of ERP blueprints (SAP PM) and related tools across multiple manufacturing sites globally governing process and standard adherence
 4. Coordinate with IT and factory teams to manage implementation timelines, deliverables, and resources along with ensured business readiness, key user training and change adoption
 5. Build strong relationships with plant managers, factory leaders, and IT counterparts across all regions serving as the "voice of the business" to IT ensuring value realization in factory KPIs
 6. Facilitate workshops and conduct gap analyses to assess current versus target state for as-is and to-be maintenance processes with focus on architectural readiness
 7. Identify and pilot new technologies to fuel digital transformation for efficiencies in factory KPIs focused on asset performance (un-/planned downtime, MTTR/MTBF, …)
 8. Ensure processes and system changes meet GMP requirements in regulated manufacturing environments and oversee validation (i.e. URS, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Your Profile
 9. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, IT, or a related field
 10. Long term professional experience in manufacturing operations, with strong exposure to maintenance processes and deep understanding of maintenance strategies and day-to-day activities
 11. Proven experience as a global process owner or business lead with focus on requirements engineering and ERP implementations (SAP PP, PM) – familiarity with S4/HANA a plus
 12. Experience managing business-IT interfaces, global deployment programs and IT change control in international and cross-functional teams with strong project management skills
 13. Passion for digitalization on the shop-floor, excitement to identify value-adding Use Cases and shaping the digital maintenance transformation, ideally showcasing first project experience
 14. Knowledge of Six Sigma, TPM or Lean Manufacturing methodologies as well as familiarity with GMP a plus
 15. Results-driven personality with a focus on user adoption and business value paired with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complexity in matrixed organization
 16. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to balance interests across cultures and hierarchies – fluent in English
 17. Up to 30% international travel for site assessments, go-lives, and stakeholder engagement
