:The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a globally recognised consultancy operating across construction and infrastructure sectors, seeking an experienced Cost Manager to strengthen its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale building and mixed-use developments, providing cost leadership and commercial expertise across project lifecycles.
Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:
1. Preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting across multiple project stages.
2. Monitoring project spend and analysing cost performance against agreed forecasts and budgets.
3. Supporting cost estimating activities using market benchmarks, historical project data, and commercial analysis techniques.
4. Managing change processes and assessing commercial impacts associated with project variations.
5. Producing cash flow forecasts, cost tracking reports, and risk-related financial assessments.
6. Reviewing invoices, contractor submissions, and payment applications while maintaining accurate project records.
7. Collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
8. Supporting the development and improvement of cost management tools, reporting methods, and best practices.
Job Requirement Qualifications & Experience required:
9. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10. Professional membership or progress toward chartership would be beneficial but is not essential.
11. German and English language skills are preferred.
12. Previous experience in cost management, estimating, or quantity surveying within construction or consultancy environments.
13. Strong analytical skills with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
14. Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
15. Experience delivering building, commercial, or large-scale capital projects would be advantageous.
