- Hybrid Work Culture: We work hybrid from our Berlin office, with a minimum of three in-office days per week — especially important during onboarding and for team collaboration.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work across the entire stack — from database to backend APIs to frontend UIs — helping us build and maintain scalable systems that support caregivers and families:
* Build Across the Stack: Develop features end-to-end — from designing database schema and writing GraphQL APIs to implementing frontend components.
* Own the System: Collaborate on architecture and data modeling. Refactor and maintain core systems with an eye for long-term scalability.
* Think Like a Product Engineer: Understand the product, the users, and the “why” behind each feature — not just the technical implementation.
* Collaborate and Elevate: Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and design discussions — especially in person. We value shared ownership.
* Deliver Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and support automated testing, monitoring, and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS
* Strong Engineering Experience: 5+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
* TypeScript Everywhere: Solid experience with TypeScript on both backend and frontend.
* PostgreSQL & GraphQL: You’re comfortable designing data models, writing efficient queries, and building robust GraphQL APIs.
* React or Similar Frontend Frameworks: You can build polished, accessible UIs and care about performance and usability.
* Backend Mindset: You think in terms of data flows, services, and maintainable architecture.
* Team Collaboration: You enjoy sharing knowledge, giving/receiving feedback, and working closely with others.
* Bonus Skills (nice to have):
o Experience with tools like PostGraphile, Prisma, or other GraphQL/ORM frameworks
o Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based development workflows
o React Native or mobile experience (some components touch the mobile side)
o Experience running or integrating local/offline LLMs (e.g. Ollama, Mistral, Llama.cpp)
HIRING PROCESS
We keep things structured but human — our goal is to understand how you think, communicate, and solve real problems.
1. Short form — we send a few questions to learn how you work and what you’re looking for
2. Intro call — a 30-minute chat with the team lead to get to know each other
3. Code challenge — a small, offline task (~4–6 hours) that reflects real-world work
4. Technical session (single day) —

Today, we are already supporting more than 4,000 care homes and private homes in Germany. Our system was specifically developed to offer seniors an entertaining cognitive training and help them to stay easily connected with their families.
