The Director of Territory Sales will be accountable for leading a team of sales professionals managing daily activities that lead to results. The role involves coaching team members to follow a defined sales process and reinforcing the sales culture. Responsibilities include managing planning, organization, and development of the team, providing leadership, direction, and motivation to sell data center warranty and related services. The position aims to enable the team to meet sales goals through strategic planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking.What you'll be doing :Collaborate with the Territory and Channel Sales Leadership teams.Drive revenue and support the company's business interests.Develop and manage comprehensive sales plans aligned with revenue goals.Create targeted strategies for resource allocation and sales activities.Plan and manage sales strategies and internal processes to support sales reps.Build and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities; analyze win/loss ratios.Mentor and coach Territory Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and sales support staff.Support sales activities from prospecting to closing, demonstrating best practices and sales discipline.Conduct weekly deal reviews, manage pipeline activity, and track results.Engage appropriate resources at the right times, including pre-sales, field service, pricing, and support staff.Maintain detailed knowledge of deal stages and next steps within the territory.Assist team members in understanding client needs, qualifying opportunities, and resolving issues.Hire, onboard, and retain high-caliber sales talent; evaluate employee performance regularly.Partner in developing onboarding curricula, sales training, and development plans.Motivate and support sales teams in prospecting and closing deals, including new and existing customers.Assess and document employee performance, providing regular feedback.Deliver weekly sales training and manage individual development plans.Utilize CRM and other sales tools effectively.Prepare and present reports on team performance and accomplishments.Build and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and internal partners.Interact with senior executives to forecast business and report on sales progress.Model positive behaviors and reinforce the employee value proposition.Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to direct reports.Hold regular 1-on-1 meetings and manage administrative tasks like time-off requests.Perform other management duties as assigned.What we're looking for :5-8 years of inside sales experience, with a preference for highly experienced candidates.Technical or technology sales management experience.Proven success in achieving sales quotas and goals.Strong record of customer acquisition and retention.Ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate, manage, and close deals.Leadership experience with a track record of achievement.Motivational skills for self and team.Bonus Points :Experience in IT sales.Education : Not specifiedTravel : Not specifiedRequired Experience : Director levelKey Skills : Not specifiedEmployment Type : Full-TimeDepartment / Functional Area : SalesExperience : 5-8 yearsVacancy : 1Location: Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany #J-18808-Ljbffr
