Allianz Group's IT Economics department is responsible for connecting finance with technology by steering global IT expenditures and managing all finance-related tasks within global IT. At the heart of this department is the financial steering of our Operating Entities worldwide, ensuring that global IT investments are strategically aligned with both business and IT strategies to maximize value for Allianz Group and establish a foundation for sustainable competitive advantage. We are currently looking for an intern to support all aspects of financial steering within this department, which includes financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting and communication with senior management of Allianz Operating Entities. How can you make an impact? You support the team in their daily work, e.g.: Support the steering of global IT expenditures in key controlling processes of Allianz Group (planning, reporting, forecasting) Support in the analysis and reporting of the Group IT Project Portfolio Drive regular communication with key senior stakeholders at Allianz Operating Entities and Allianz SE Support the development of initiatives, frameworks, tools, and methodologies related to IT cost steering Drive the preparation of management presentations and IT steering Boards Prepare, execute, and wrap-up workshops and team meetings Conduct data sanity checks and support developments in our reporting tools This experience offers you a great starting point to get to know the insurance industry and insights into the fast paced, international world of the leading insurance group word-wide. In addition you will acquire valuable analytical skills and get to know people from all over the world. You will work independently with guidance from senior project managers and your personal mentor. What are you made of? Minimum Qualifications You are at an advanced stage of your master degree and have a proven track record Studies in Business Administration, Economics, other business related fields or Information Systems You are fluent in English and German (spoken and written), additional language skills are a plus You do have strong MS Office skills, especially in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents: Certificate of enrolment (exception gap year) Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens).
