Who we are
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.
Your role and key responsibilities
* Assuming full end-to-end responsibility for all IT products in the areas of Finance, Procurement, HR, and Sales
* Steering and coordinating all activities to ensure the implementation, operation, and support of IT products across these domains
* Planning and implementing the IT landscape for Finance, Procurement, HR, and Sales
* Disciplinary leadership of a diverse team of 20+ employees
* Defining and executing the IT supplier and partner strategy for all relevant IT products
* Annual IT budget and portfolio planning in close collaboration with business functions
* Ongoing IT budget forecasting and management throughout the fiscal year
What you bring to the team
* A successfully completed (under)graduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
* Solid knowledge of IT solutions in Finance, Procurement, HR, and Sales, along with strong expertise in SAP technologies, especially S/4HANA and SuccessFactors
* 5–8 years of proven experience in leading teams and managing external service providers
* Proficiency in budget planning, forecasting, and financial oversight with a structured and analytical mindset
* Experience with agile project methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe
* Strong team orientation and collaboration skills, including intercultural and cross-cultural communication
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
* Outstanding communication and moderation skills in both German and English
