【Key Responsibilities】
1. Pursue advanced design methodology by utilizing numerical design methods and generative design techniques to optimize part performance and efficiency.
2. Lead the concept design and engineering of Body-in-White (BIW) components from initial concept through to production, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, weight, and structural integrity requirements.
3. Perform structural analysis and testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of BIW components.
4. Drive process optimization efforts to improve manufacturing quality, reduce costs, and enhance production efficiency.
5. Coordinate across departments and collaborate with CN hardware teams to ensure seamless and efficient project execution across regions.
【Key Qualifications】
1. Design and engineering skills with expert use of CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE for 3D modelling and design.
2. Generative design experience with hands-on application of generative design tools and methodologies.
3. Series development experience in mass production projects, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and lightweight BIW structures.
4. Manufacturing and materials expertise across a range of processes and materials including metals, composites, and advanced alloys.
5. At least 8 years of professional experience in Body-in-White (BIW) engineering within the automotive industry.
