Abra professional services is seeking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a classified defense-related project. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Deployment and maintenance of computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems
* Troubleshooting customer issues both on-site and in project laboratories across multiple locations
* Providing fast and flexible solutions for users working in complex, multi-environment development systems
* Writing technical specifications, procedures, and operational documentation
* Integrating with interfacing systems and platforms
* Working in a dynamic and heterogeneous production environment
* Full on-site position at the company's offices in Holon (not a hybrid role)
Requirements
Technical Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Linux-based operating systems
* Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory / Domain environments
* Strong understanding of operating system processes
* Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
* Experience setting up Domain Controllers (DC) and creating and deploying Group Policy Objects (GPO)
* Experience installing and managing digital certificates (Microsoft CA)
* Experience managing virtualized environments (VMs) – VM creation, network configuration, snapshots
* Familiarity with NetApp storage systems – an advantage

* Ability to integrate into an existing IT team with strong self-learning capabilities
* Position requires security clearance (candidates without clearance may undergo the classification process)
* Valid driver's license (Class B / 02)
* Willingness to work non-standard hours when required
* Willingness to travel and work at multiple sites locally and abroad
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
